1883 High Waisted Vintage look Suspender Skirt Doll Clothes Pattern fits popular 18" dolls.
This suspender skirt was inspired by patterns for little girls from the 40s and 50s. It has a high waist shaped waist band with suspenders. It is meant to be worn over light tops like blouses and t-shirts or light turtlenecks.
You need a light weight fabric for the skirt. It fits both my modern American Girl® Dolls and my vintage Kit Kittridge® doll. The skirt does up in the back. The straps do not cross in the back so it is very easy to put on the doll.
The skirt looks cute in plain fabrics for the front cut on the fold. View 2 has a bias cut skirt with a seam in the front. This works well with plaids or stripes and gives a nice drape to light weight winter fabrics.
Plains, one way designs and checks or plaids in a light weight fabric.
